National Register of Historic Places This is a screenshot taken from the National Register of Historic Places website (found here: https://www.nps.gov/maps/full.html?mapId=7ad17cc9-b808-4ff8-a2f9-a99909164466 ) documenting the preservation of the Fourth Ward area as historically significant and or important. This was done in 1985 and has helped ensure that the area is no longer cut through by the cities' redevelopment plans. Only way it can be affected is via preservation or updates to the areas infrastructure.
