Linnie McAdams

Linnie McAdams was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, in 1938. She grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and attended M. L. Kirkpatrick Junior High School in Fort Worth. She graduated from I. M. Terrell Senior High School in 1955 and attended both the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. Subsequently, in the early 1960s Mrs. McAdams worked as a housekeeper and ironer then worked for the Office of Civil Defense in 1965.  Mrs. McAdams was one of the founding members of the Denton Interracial Women’s Fellowship in 1964.
