Death Certificate of Eliza Jane White Green.

GREEN, ELIZA JANE WHITE (1878-1914): Eliza "Liza" Jane White was born to John Matt White and Matilda McWorter White in April 1878 in Pilot Point, Texas.  Eliza Jane was the sixth of eight children born to John and Matilda. In Pilot Point, John M. White worked as a farm laborer on land he owned: 77.5 acres at a value of $500 that he purchsed from William Boydston and 11 acres at a value of $50 from J. Owens.  In 1900, at the age of 22, Eliza lived with her parents, four of her siblings, and her maternal grandmother. Eliza married David Thomas on December 23, 1901. However, in 1910, she is listed as a widower. At this time, Eliza lived with her father, her step-mother Patsy, and her two children Rosie Thomas (b. 1904) and Amanda Thomas (b. 1906) and worked as a hired farmhand.  On October 24, 1912, Eliza married Richard Green. On June 29, 1914, Eliza died of pellagra at the age of 36. Eliza Jane White Green was buried in St. John’s Cemetery.
