Henry and Lissie Smith Headstone

Headstone of Henry and wife Lissie in St. John's Cemetery, Pilot Point.

SMITH, HENRY (1857-1919): Not much is known about Henry Smith. Henry was born in 1857 and died of unknown causes in 1919.  Henry’s tombstone confirms that he was the husband of Lissie Smith. Both Henry and Lissie were buried in St. John’s Cemetery in Pilot Point.  Presumed to be the parent of Little Safe Smith, also buried in St. John's Cemetery and who's headstone was only recently discovered by the students researching the community.
