Oliver, Peggy (c. 1824-1884):  Peggy Oliver was born in Georgia around 1884. By 1870, Peggy lived in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, with her husband, Charles. (b. 1820), and her inferred children: Marshal (b. 1850), Lee (b. 1852), Henry (b. 1855), Billy (b. 1857), George (b. 1859), Sallie (b. 1861), and Martha (b. 1865). By 1880, Peggy and her husband lived in Denton County with their sons, Billy and George. Her son Lee, his wife Feeby (b. 1825), and their nephew Ady Vaughn (b. 1866) lived adjacent to the Oliver’s property. Shortly after her arrival in north Texas, Peggy died of unknown circumstances and was buried in St. John’s Cemetery in Pilot Point, next to Charles. Peggy was survived by her three sons, Lee, Billy, and George.
