4. Lewis Vaughner
VAUGHNER, LEWIS (1897-1897): Lewis Vaughner was the fifth of six children born to Ceborn (Sebe) Vaughner and Mary Ann Billingslea; Irene (b. 1887), Effie (b. 1891), Jenny (b. 1894), Goldie (b. 1895), Lewis (b. 1897), and L. D. "Lover" (b. 1898). Lewis died shortly after his birth in 1897 and was buried in St. John's Cemetery in Pilot Point, Texas. Lewis’s headstone reads “Weep not, for he is at peace.” Lewis was survived by his parents and siblings.
